Dear Domingo:

	Here is a copy of my letter from Gelfand.  I would say that
the signatures are the same, so the J. in the typed name is just a
misprint.

	Enclosed  for Sue is a later draft of my paper %2Ascribing
Mental Qualities to Machines%1.  I have to put it aside for another
paper temporarily, and I would be interested in any comments she
may have on the present draft.  There is some redundancy and some
superfluous asides that will be eliminated.

	Vera and I are going to the AAAS meeting in Boston and may
come by New York, but the only fixed date so far is that I am giving
a paper there on February 22.  If we plan to come by we'll call.
